A character thing for school a few months ago.
Wish I could have made all the animals out of paper too, but I ran out of time...

It's a monochromatic chameleon in a super colourful over the top world. Although he can't produce colours he can make bold patterns (almost like Rorschach ink blots).

I made the Rorschach ink patterns first and based the different chameleon shapes on the different blots. c:

Love the vivid colors. Great set of designs! As a kid, did you ever happen to read the picture book "Alexander and the Wind-Up Mouse"? I ask because your neon lizard designs are giving me serious nostalgia; in the book, there was a rainbow lizard. Your illustrations made me smile because they made me remember that, something I hadn't thought of in ages!

You're welcome! The illustrations in that book have an appealing style... it's why I remember them after all these years.

Aha, no, your illustrations are fabulous! I can imagine some of the critters in your piece occupying the pages of a children's book, maybe one about enchanted jungles in Madagascar. The designs are very fun to look at.
