everyone always picked Charmander, from what I can tell - I get it, because Charizard is super awesome, but I know I always picked Bulbasaur, or Squirtle, because of type advantage against the first gym leaders, when I was a kid. I dunno if that meant I was smart enough to realize it'd be difficult in the beginning with Charmander, or if I was silly enough to not realize I could work around the disadvantage and benefit from it later. xD
My first Pokemon game was Heartgold for the DS, and it still keeps a special place in my heart, and the starter I first chose was the fire starter, Cyndaquil. I remember I chose it because it was the cutest. XD
I am absolutely in love with your pokemon art!!! It's so awesome ^_^ Would you mind if I shared it on my facebook page? It's legend of zelda based, but we also share Pokemon and other things. Take a peak if you wish. www.facebook.com/littleimpmidna/
I always picked Charmander as well ^^ Back when pokemon was new I was still in my dinosaur obsession stage and charmander seemed the most dino-esque to me It must have had some sort of affect on me because now I always prefer fire types too!
As for this collage, I really love how you incorporate cut paper onto photographs. Your work now has a lot more depth and detail
im normally a grass starter (unless cyniquil is available, cuz i love quilava ) but i might sometimes pick the fire starter, but i never choose the water, idk why since water is my favorite element if i were to control one haha
I went with the Fire starters when I was younger, since they looked cooler. Charizard, Typhlosion, Blaziken. These days I pick the Grass or Water starter, whichever has the hardest time in that game's Gyms, which makes me build a diverse team and not just concentrate on the starter.
